Red-Shouldered

Hawk with Moorhen

BBSP hummingbird

nest. It appears to

be a female Ruby-

Throated

Hummingbird sitting

on eggs.   She spent

most of her time on

the nest and since

there was no chicks

to be seen

we assume that she

is incubating

eggs. Hummingbirds

normally lay 2 eggs,

Incubation time is

about 2 weeks and

another 3 weeks

before the little guys

are ready to fly.
