Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)

Educational field trips

Brazos Bend State Park offers educational field trips and programs designed to address certain science Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) as mandated by the Texas Education Agency.  The TEKS covered for each grade and program are listed on the main menu on the left under School Trips (TEKS).  Fees are listed below.

Reservations must be made in advance for all programs and dates are subject to availability.  Contact Park Naturalists  Montse Canedo at (979) 553-5123 for further information and reservations.

A variety of other programs, presentations and activities can be arranged by special request.

SCHOOL GROUP FEES

Guided Nature Hikes (Creekfield Lake and 40 Acre Lake)

  •   1 - 20 Students - $40.00 
  • 21 - 40 Students - $60.00  
  • 41 - 60 Students - $80.00  
  • 61 - 80 Students - $100.00  
  • 81-100 Students - $120.00  

Classroom Programs
Unfortunately all classroom programs have been suspended indefinitely.

    • 1 - 50 Students - $20.00
  • Mammal Program
    • 1 - 50 Students - $20.00
  • Bird Program
    • 1 - 50 Students - $20.00
  • Aquatic Invertebrate Program (available for grades 3 - 5)
    • 1 - 30 students - $60.00
